What Is Instagram Product Tag?
Instagram product tagging is an Instagram feature that allows business accounts to tag their physical products in their posts and link them to Facebook catalogs to buy what they want with a quick link.
You can increase your sales by using Instagram product tagging or using Instagram Shopping. In this way, you can also increase your followers and turn them into regular customers. But sometimes, you may find this tag is not working. What can you do in this situation?
Why Can’t I Tag Products on Instagram?
Your store must be eligible for product tagging on Instagram. If you can’t get approval to start Instagram Shopping and tag your products, you need to determine eligibility first.

Hello!
I can’t make it work and support does not answer.
All my products are on Instagram and you can see them but I can’t tag them. When I try, this message cames up “add a domain to your catalogue”.
Any tips/help with this specific problem?
Thank you very much.
You have to put a link of your website to your Instagram account.
How or where do I need to put a link on the Instagram account. I do have it
I had everything set up correctly and was using it with much success. Now suddenly I can’t tag my products. I can see them, the shop settings are correct, domain settings are correct and yet it tells me “This product does not use the domain you selected for Instagram Shopping” GGAAAAAHHHHHHHH ! I have Facebook tech support telling me to log out log in re-verify my domain etc etc and it still hasn’t worked. They have escalated my need but that may take months. Any ideas? 🙁
I am having the same issue as Nicole with my IG tagging. I’m having the same problem as all. Please help.
I think there is something I forgot to do, I can’t tag products on Instagram but I’ll try to do the things that are written here. Hope it works.
I had everything set up correctly. My products are showing in my Facebook shop and Instagram shop. My app and phone software are up to date. I was able to tag a few photos Instagram but now the product tagging has stopped working for me. Any ideas?
I have facebook business manager and connected it to my IG business account. I have 52 products in my catagogue and the IG has been approved for tagging. The product tagging thing was going great, until one day it told me that it could not find any products when I tried to tag in a post. All my existing tags are there and i see all the shop products when I go to my ig shop. My settings also show the FB product cataloge and indicates there are 52 items. I have not done anything additional to verify my domain because I have not received any notification to do so or any indication on how to do it as I have gone around my settings. Please let me know if anyone has figured this out. VERY FRUSTRATING
I am encountering the same issue as you. Is there a solution to it?
