How to Delete Facebook Posts

Sometimes, you just want to clean up your Facebook whether it’s an old cringe-worthy post, something too personal, or just general decluttering. Whatever the reason, Facebook gives you a few ways to delete posts, either one by one or in bulk.

Why Bother Deleting Old Posts?

People delete Facebook posts for all kinds of reasons, like:

  • Privacy concerns – Maybe you overshared back in the day.
  • Jobs & career stuff – Employers stalk social media, so it’s smart to tidy up.
  • Changed opinions – What seemed like a good post five years ago might not feel the same now.
  • Cleaning up the timeline – A fresh, uncluttered profile looks better.
  • Avoiding weird memories – Some posts just bring back things you’d rather forget.
